Put a $50 Deposit on your AST1 Classroom session by May 31. This qualifies you to receive a $75 package discount when you pay for your AST Level 1 Class, Field AND an evening Rescue Workshop. Full payment must be received by September 30. This package discount can be combined with the Early Season September Credit described below.

Early Registration Credits for Groups
These credits are to REWARD GROUPS that are proactive and make our jobs simpler! By registering your group early, you help us create workable schedules for our field instructors. For this we THANK YOU!
- AST 1 Class & Field Session – $50 credit
- AST 2 Advanced Class & Field – $50 credit
These credits are available for each person in a group of 6 or more who register and pay at least 14 days prior to the (classroom) session taking place.
Choose a “Team Name”. Each member must quote the same “Team Name” during the registration process.
The $50 credit may be applied toward your next purchase of $100 or more in Zac’s Tracs Store. Credit must be used by February 28.

Refresh Your Avalanche Skills
Already completed your AST1 and thinking of taking a REFRESHER of the Classroom and/or Field session?
If we have spaces available in a classroom session or a field session you could receive one of the following discounts:
REP75 – $75 discount/session If you completed your AST sessions with Zac’s Tracs in the 19/20 season
REP50 – $50 discount/session If you completed your AST sessions with Zac’s Tracs in the 18/19 season
REP25 – $25 discount/session If you completed your AST sessions with Zac’s Tracs in the 17/18 season
NOTE: An additional $25 off if you bring your Zacs Workbook
For example, if Joe completed his AST1 Class & Field in December 2019 (2019/20 season – 1 year ago) and wishes to sign up to refresh the Class & Field in the current season (2020-21 season), Joe qualifies for $75 off the Class AND $75 off the Field session. $150 discount in total.

Youth Discount – AST1 Classroom
A single youth (age 10-17 years old) that attends an AST1 or AST1.5 classroom session WITH THEIR PARENT is eligible for a $75 discount from the standard classroom rate.

Youth Discount – Indoor Rescue Workshop (IRW)

Where do you enter these special promo offers and avalanche training discount codes?
Occasionally Zac’s will issue a special promotional code to reward people and organizations that participate in Raffles, Contests, Surveys, Sales promotions and other activities that support our sport.
Please read your coupon carefully as there may be quantity or category restrictions and expiry dates. Add the appropriate item to your shopping cart and then key the promotional code that you were issued into the ‘Special Code’ box on the shopping cart page. If your purchase meets the criteria of the code the discount will be applied.
To take advantage of a Zac’s Store Credit you must purchase double the volume of the Credit. For example a $25 credit will require that you purchase a minimum of $50.
