This registration package includes a 2 page registration form and a 2 page Liability Waiver (necessary for the outdoor sessions). This package can be downloaded, printed, and filled out.
Please return the 2 page registration form to Zac’s Tracs to complete your booking.
Read the liability waiver thoroughly and BRING THE ORIGINAL WAIVER to the classroom session for your instructor to witness.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the nature of the training that Zac’s Tracs provides we require the following Refund and Cancellation Policy. In order for us to bring the Avalanche Skills Training courses to such a broad range of communities there are costs that are incurred and paid for including instructors, meeting rooms, locations, etc, which cannot be recouped by Zac’s Tracs unless the courses take place and are filled to capacity.
  1. CLASSROOM courses cancelled with more than 14 days notice will be refunded, less a $25 administration fee.
  2. There will be NO REFUNDS for ANY courses cancelled within 14 days of the session date.
  3. ALL FIELD courses are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person.
  4. If a FIELD session is to be transferred to another person, that person is responsible for paying a $25 switch fee and for ensuring that they have either (a) taken the classroom portion of the AST Level 1, or have (b) registered and paid for the class prior to participating in the field session.
  5. An administration fee of $25 will be charged to anyone wishing to switch A FIELD SESSION with a MINIMUM OF 14 DAYS NOTICE.
  6. Zac’s reserves the right to cancel any course should the number of registrations not reach the minimum number required to make the course viable. All course fees will be returned to the student. Other expenses incurred by the student related to the program or as a result of Zac’s Tracs cancelling the program are the responsibility of the registered participant.
  7. Courses are not weather dependent. Non attendance due to weather is considered a cancellation and full fee will be charged.
  8. Cancellations must be received in writing (letter, fax or email) and are only effective once your notification is received by Zac’s Tracs.
  9. Emergency Cancellation Insurance coverage is available. This, taken at extra cost when you first book, will allow for a full refund should you be forced to cancel FOR HEALTH OR MEDICAL reasons AFFECTING YOURSELF OR MEMBERS OF YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY. We strongly recommend you take this coverage.

The premium for this Emergency Cancellation Insurance is only 5% of the applicable course fee.
