Close Call!
The following was submitted by a past participant of Zac’s Tracs training programs. It is a reminder of how quick a situation can get out of hand. Although everyone was shaken up, we are all very relieved that everything turned out OK.

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that the training we received from you and Randy Dec.15th at Golden paid off this last weekend….When the avalanche started, Bob and I were at the bottom of the hill but not quite out of the run out zone. Garry noticed and hollered over the radio. I was parallel with the bottom of the hill, Bob was going towards the hill so he was facing it straight on….
