If I am pointed uphill when the avalanche fractures, I can just pin it and run up the moving slide…
I can tell from the trees where I am safe…
I have sledded here all my life. I know the common sliding slopes and all the dangerous areas…

  2. The latest fatalities happened when the avalanche danger was listed at ‘considerable’. I will simply avoid climbing when the avy danger is ‘considerable’....
