AST 1 – 8 hour Hands-on Field Training
Instructor student ratio 8:1
Meeting Location – Morrisey Road
Meeting Time – 8:00am unload, sign out gear, purchase trail passes
Class Start – 8:30 am – Please be geared up and ready to ride for this time.
Return Time ~ 5:30 pm MST
How handy! The BC gov’t has a 24 hour weather camera mounted at the Morrisey Road turn off from Highway 3.

The BC web camera states that the Morrisey road intersection is 10km south of town…it feels a little longer to me?
An obvious landmark on the left side of Hwy 3 is the line of trees with ‘orange’ branches that line a driveway near the Morrisey Road intersection.
Once traveling east on the Morrisey Road you will cross a bridge and continue to the left at both forks. The staging area is just before the business yard for a cat skiing operation. Last time we were at Morrisey the snowmobile parking lot was well plowed out.
